She entered the acting industry after emerging as 1st Runnersup in Miss Asia Pacific (Hong Kong) in 1989. She was signed up by the the organising station, HK ATV immediately after the pageant. She appeared in numerous drama for the TV station in the span of only a few years, she became one of the station top actresses. She got married to the a script writer in 2000 and still active in her acting career.


Joey Meng is without a doubt one of the sexiest actresses to hit the HK entertainment world. However, she is more known for her work in television than films, even though she had made some solid films. Joey made her film debut in 1991 with a small role in Beyond's Diary. In 1995, she played the role of Yumi, the girlfriend of legendary hero Chen Jun in the ATV version of Fist of Fury, starring Donnie Yen. She is best known as the Vampire Killer in the TV show My Date with a Vampire. In 1999, Joey appeared as Louis Koo's club girl lover in Century of the Dragon. Joey continues work in television and films today.
